Short description: For this thesis, the spatial context will be within the Landscape Lab
in Koppl. The BSc student interested in geological and geomorphological
phenomena should compile a respective solid overview of the Mondsee
catchment with a particular focus on the sub-catchment Koppl. This
thesis is based on a literature study only. It is expected that the
student has comprehensive knowledge in German language to understand the
available literature. Furthermore, experiences in methods of scientific
writing to ensure proper citation of literature is required. The
objective of this topic is to explain the genesis of the landscape, to
explain the geomorphological structure and to name them. Preferably, the
student is taking pictures of the geo(morpho)logical elements and
documents and explain them in the BSc. References/Suggested reading
All available literature will be provided as PDF and Endnote readable RIS file.
Prerequisites/qualification: Basic knowledge in Geology. Experiences in reading scientific texts. Advanced skills in scientific writing.
